July 27, 2009--Precision Hermetic Technology's PHT Microtite series of titanium interconnects feature glass-to-metal hermetic seal reliability suited for accelerometer applications. The connector is smaller than typical industry-standard mini-type versions, and is less expensive than ceramic sealed types.
The connectors feature 0.51-mm tin-plated contacts in a 4.9 x 5.82-mm package with M4.5 thread, and are available as a plug and receptacle mated pair. Insulation resistance is greater than 1000 M?, with dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 volts DC at a leak rate of 1 x 10 (-9) cc/sec helium at a pressure differential of 1 atmosphere. Operating temperature range is -18º to 177º C.
