July 6, 2009--Sullins Connector Solutions has added a 2.54-mm contact centerline SFH IDC Series socket and SIP IDC Series DIP plugs. The devices are designed to quickly mass-terminate single-layer (1.27-mm) 28 AWG flat ribbon cable.
Sockets mate with the company's SBH11 Series box headers, as well as most other 0.100-inch pitch IDC box headers. They can be ordered with strain relief and polarizing keys.
These IDC devices have a current rating of 1 amp per contact, and are offered in 3/6 through 32/64 dual positions. Dielectric voltage is 500 volts AC, and maximum contact resistance is 30 m?. Applications include household appliances HVAC equipment, gasoline pumps, vending machines, and telecom/datacom equipment.
