June 30, 2009--Schleuniger's CrimpCenter 36 is designed to accommodate up to six processing stations and is suitable for a variety of applications for cross sections from 24 to 12 AWG (0.22 to 4 mm˛). A synchronized Ethernet powerlink is designed to ensure fast and continuous communication between the software and the five servo drives.
The new UniCrimp 220 A Crimping Machine includes crimp force monitoring, crimp height micro-adjust, jog mode and split cycle as standard features. Electronic crimp height adjustment, carrier strip cutters, and pneumatic feed kits are available. Splice detectors as well as pull test and crimp height verification devices can also be integrated.
To minimize downtime, the ToolingShuttle 30 combines applicator, terminal reel and paper winder in a mobile quick-change unit. The optional EASY ProductionServer networking software for central order management is designed to optimize the processing sequence and minimize change-over time.
CrimpCenter 36 uses standard TCP/IP communication and can be integrated in networks worldwide.
