April 21, 2009--Mouser Electronics, Inc. has been awarded Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solution's 2008 Top Distributor Award. Emerson is a global leader in embedded telecommunications and data network infrastructures.
The Emerson award is given annually, and this was Mouser's first venture into the top five distributor spot. "Emerson's popular and extensive product line of high quality devices, combined with Mouser's successful commitment to quickly provide the newest products and best service, was undoubtedly the reason for Mouser's two percent market share increase," says Barry McConnell, Mouser senior vice president of products.
