TSR offers continuous copper splicer

April 8, 2009--Mecal/Starn's MRFPS splicing applicator is designed to handle a continuous copper band, which is fed, cut, formed and crimped around two side wires in one press stroke. Distributed by T.S.R. Inc., the MRFPS is also used to connect neon lamps, LEDs, switches, and adapters.

The copper band is available in widths of 2, 4, and 6 mm, and can be used to crimp from 0.06 mm2 up to 6.6 mm2 wire sections.

The MRFPS splicing applicator will debut at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo, May 20-21, Milwaukee, WI, at the T.S.R. booth (#1141).
