COUPLER/SPLITTER CONFIGURATIONS–Polarization Maintaining (PM) coupler/splitters are designed for a wide variety of applications and industries, used to either combine two or more signals into one, or split one signal into multiple paths. They are available in 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x8, 2x2, and 2x4 configurations, with all industry standard fiber optic connectors (typically, FC and FC /APC). Wavelengths supported include: 1550, 1310, 1060, 980/960, 780, and 633 nm.Custom wavelengths, connectors, and configurations are available upon request. Each PM coupler/splitter can be purchased in either a ruggedized plastic housing with 3-mm leads, or a low-profile stainless steel tube for high density equipment requirements.

MULTIMODE FERRULES–These multimode MT Elite ferrules are designed to provide a cost-effective solution for managing the most stringent link attenuation budgets while allowing for the maximum number of potential connector pairs in the link. Multimode MT Elite ferrules, combined with the company’s MTP brand MPO connector components, are designed for use in array trunkcabling, breakout cassettes, and for existing and emerging high-speed parallel optic protocols. Tested in accordance with proposed industry standard encircled flux launch conditions, the multimode MT Elite ferrules offer a worst-case mated pair insertion loss of 0.35 dB on 50/125-µm OM3 fiber @ 850 nm, with a typical distribution mode of 0.10 dB.
