TTI online service organizes multiple customer projects

Jan 23, 2009

January 23, 2009 -- TTI has introduced its Project List, an online tool designed to enhance the way customers purchase and quote online, building upon the functionality of the distributor's existing Saved List tool.

With the Project List tool, customers create projects and add parts to them through features including "search results," "part comparison," or "multi-part upload." Customers may then add individual parts or entire projects to their shopping cart or quote request, completing their entire transaction within two to three clicks. The spreadsheet feature exports any project's list of parts and the current availability to an Excel spreadsheet.

Susan McCreary, a TTI software developer, discussed some of the benefits Project List offers the distributor's customers. "Project List is a great time-saver because it allows customers to add multiple parts to their shopping cart or quote request. Plus, it offers the convenience of keeping multiple sets of past requirements together and organized. Customers will appreciate the familiar interface and the fact they'll be able to quickly generate spreadsheets of required parts and their availability."
