Omron honors DAC Group with partnership excellence award

August 19, 2008 -- Omron Electronic Components LLC has presented the DAC Group, comprised of Force Electronics and Heilind Electronics, with its Partnership Excellence Award for FY 2007.

Criteria for the award was judged over Omron's fiscal year, ending March 31, 2008, and was awarded upon the DAC Group's overall performance, which "far exceeded expected partnership guidelines," according to Omron.

Noteworthy measures of DAC's included promotion of new products through marketing and inventory optimization, as well as partnerships and relationships developed at the branch level. The DAC Group was also named as being "most liked by Omron sales engineers to work with throughout North America."

"Omron is pleased to give the 2007 Partnership Excellence Award to DAC this year," commented Kris Whitehouse, distribution sales manager for Omron. "DAC continues to show commitment to the Omron line through their intense focus on our total product offering. Our wide range of new technologies, which include connectors, has been a major focus and is gaining us market share with new customers. The award is well deserved."

Accepting the award was DAC supplier business manager, Ken Pirt.

"DAC is truly honored to, once again, be recognized by Omron Electronic Components," said Pirt. "The Partnership Excellence Award is positive recognition that our efforts in the electro-mechanical marketplace are acknowledged and appreciated. Omron's breadth of products in the switching and sensing markets makes them a perfect fit for our targeted customers."

Omron Electronic Components' manufacturing product groups include relays, switches, connectors, MEMS flow sensors, pressure sensors, and optical components.
