August 7, 2008--Cambridge Connectors' C-SX-069 Pathfinder BNC connector is designed to overcome a common dilemma when using broadcast routing and switching equipment--to correctly identify ports in an array of several hundred connectors. The connector features a proprietary insulator material that acts as a light pipe to transmit light from a PCB-mounted LED at the rear of the connector to the front.
By using different colors, the function and status of each port can be clearly indicated. Designed specifically for HDTV serial video broadcast applications, this RoHS-compliant 75-ohm right-angle BNC connector also offers a low profile (4 mm), permitting close packing densities of daughterboards in switching and routing equipment.
