Featuring a high-power UV laser and optical system based on the company’s proprietary Longbow UV solid-state laser, the NOVA 880 laser wire marker is built to achieve marking speeds up to double those of comparable devices. Built especially to meet the demand of commercial aircraft manufacturers and high-volume aerospace wire harness applications, NOVA is available as either a manual system or with automated wire handling for selecting and loading wires. A new auto-select-and-load (ASL) system doubles the number of wires that can be handled automatically, compared from the previous 16 to 32 wires or cables handled on the company’s CAPRIS 60-200. This marker is built to excel in extreme applications, such as very long wire codes for long wires with continuous close-pitched codes for military aircraft.
