These LC connectors for FTTx deployments feature a smaller footprint than comparable SC and ST connectors, allowing for increased fiber port density and reduced-size subscriber termination boxes. An RJ latch system mounted on the top of the connector housing is designed for simplified, single-handed insertion and retraction. These field-installable devices require no assembly tools, polishing, or epoxy resin.

Duplex and quad LC adapters are designed with secure panel-mount latching, and are compatible with TIA FOCIS 10B duplex and quad-panel cut-outs. The design allows for 2× connection densities using existing simplex and duplex SC adapter panel cut-outs. The RoHS-compliant, high-density adapters and modularized multi-port dust shutters are available in multimode, singlemode, and APC, and meet UL 94 V-0 flammability requirements.
