V-Bite RF edgecard connectors now include a male Type N designed for high-power applications, such as base stations, cellular antennas, RF and microwave components, and test and measurement equipment. Built to ensure excellent performance characteristics throughout 0 to 18 GHz, these connectors feature a low profile (one-half the connector’s diameter) and small footprint for use in high-density designs. They are engineered to snap in place onto the PCB before hand or reflow soldering. Parts are supported from below and above the board to disperse rotational torque relief, minimizing stress on the solder area. The Type N V-Bite accommodates medium to miniature-size RG coaxial cables, including RG-8, 58, 141, and 225.
