Exar praises Mouser's product promotions

May 12, 2010

Exar Corporation recently recognized Mouser Electronics for Mouser's promotion of Exar products. At Exar's sales conference held in April, the power-management IC maker presented Mouser with an award in recognition of outstanding contribution in the promotion of Exar products, citing Mouser's increasing month-over-month sales for 16 months. Mouser also was credited with introducing thousands of new customers to Exar's power management, communications and interface silicon solutions through Internet and catalog marketing.

"Although we are known in the industry for our rapid introduction of the newest products, the Exar award confirms that electronics buyers enthusiastically respond to new products," said Mike Scott, Mouser's vice president of active products who accepted the award along with product specialist Carl Smith. "We are honored to be the recipient of this award from Exar and are working diligently to expand our in-stock offering in support of the design community," Scott continued.

Exar's vice preisdent of global sales Bentley Long added, "In the very short time since we engaged with Mouser, we have seen significant sequential quarterly growth in new customer count, and view Mouser as an integral part of our demand-creation strategy. Together we will continue to collaborate on building awareness of the Exar brand throughout the design community."
