Wire and harness industry distributor Training Service and Repair (TSR; www.tsr-mi.com) has introduced the U.K.-based line of Cobra wiring harness machines. These tools feature high-speed production, and the ability to use large packages of braid designed to reduce run-out waste and lower downtime. According to TSR, a recent time study shows that the Cobra took about 2.5 minutes to wire a harness compared to 4.5 minutes by comparable tools. The company carries 16, 24, 36, and 48 carrier braiders.
