Modular double-level DIN rail terminal blocks feature 26 to 14 AWG wire-rated spring clamp connection on one side and industry-standard pluggable terminal block on the other side. Individual terminal blocks can be mounted beside each other in groups from 2 to 24 positions so that the pluggable blocks can be inserted at either the lower or upper level in an equal number of positions. Since these terminal blocks are angled, wiring on the spring clamp side is readily accessible, and access to the upper and lower plug is easy for installers working on the plug side of the block. Plugs are available in several wire and screw access options.

Featuring tension clamp connection, the Z-Compact mini terminal block is designed to deliver vibration-proof connections in confined spaces, such as cramped control cabinets and standard junction enclosures. The series includes the ZDU 2.5N, a single-level, 1.4-inch feed-through terminal that mounts on a TS-35 DIN rail (60 termination points per foot of DIN rail are possible). It features one pluggable jumpering channel per terminal block, and is available in three- and four-branch configurations. Ground versions and two-diode versions are also available. The ZDK 2.5/3AN dual-level version offers high wiring density with six connections and two jumpering channels. These terminal blocks are UL-rated for 300 volts, 20 amps, and 30 to 12 AWG. Each has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0.

The company’s line of high-frequency center probe test sockets can now be used with devices requiring pitches as low as 0.40 mm. These test sockets are suitable for such applications as CSP, MicroBGA, DSP, LGA, SRAM, DRAM and Flash devices with speeds from 1 GHz to more than 10 GHz. A solderless, pressure-mount compression spring probe design allows for simplified mounting and removal from the test board. A 4-point spring probe is designed to ensure “scrub” on solder ball oxides for reliable contact mating, and works with LGAs, MLFs, and other socket types. Single point probes are available for small land area contact pads for LGAs, QFNs, and MLFs. Available in four sizes, the socket’s small overall profile allows the maximum number of sockets per board and boards per oven. In addition, the sockets are designed to provide minimal signal loss for higher bandwidth capability via signal path of .077 inches.

EXTREME TEMP CABLING FOR ASSEMBLIES

Available in continuous lengths or as assemblies with connectors, these high-flex silicon cables are designed to retain flexibility and electrical properties in temperatures ranging from -65° to 260° C. According to the company, the thermal capability exceeds that of typical PVC-jacketed or specialized PFTE-jacketed cables. The cables are also built to withstand exposure to high levels of ultraviolet, radiation, and ozone. Typically manufactured to customer specification, the cables are also available in many standard configurations for motion control applications. These flat cables are available from 4 to 44 AWG, and the company’s proprietary extrusion process allows multiple wires to be placed in a flat cable, precisely controlling the wire spacing, insulation thickness, and overall cable shape so that designers can create the cable needed in the smallest possible package.
