The SC39 retention-type locking connector features a spring housed in the base that holds the connectors together for fast and safe disconnection. Meeting MIL-DTL-38999, the SC39 performs at temperatures ranging from -65° to 175° C (cadmium version) and -65° to 200° C (nickel version). It is also designed to show resistance to 500 hours in a salt spray (cadmium) and 48 hours (nickel). Thirty configurations are available in four sizes, with contacts for crimping/pinning signal (5 to 23 amps), high-frequency coaxial, concentric and differential twinax, triax, and quadrax.

Multiple connector cable assemblies are available in arrangements of two, three, or four DIN 43650-A or B and C solenoid connectors. Standard cable length is one meter, with 200 mm between connectors (custom lengths available). Each connector comes with a screw to lock to the device, and a gasket to ensure IP67 rating. The connectors are also available on a cordset equipped with an M8 or M12 connector on one end of a 1-meter molded cable, and a DIN connector on the other end.

Designed for LMR-600 cable, RFD-1600-2L2 and 1505-2L-2 7/16 DIN connectors are designed for high-power wireless telecommunications applications. The 1600-2L2 attaches to the cable with a solder/clamp method while the 1505-2L-2 attaches with a crimp/solder method. Both 50-Ω connectors have a combination feature that lets you assemble for straight or right-angle applications in the field. Both conform to the DIN specification of silver-plated bodies and pins with Teflon dielectric. Coupling nuts are designed with a hex/knurl combination that allows for hand or wrench tightening.

Designed to improve transmission line performance for wireless applications, EZfit connectors and tools are engineered to fit smooth-wall and corrugated transmission line cable, including ½-, 7/8-, 1¼-, and 1 5/8-inch 50-Ω coaxial cable. Backward-compatible with aluminum and copper transmission line systems, the connectors feature a tight seal to prevent water ingress, and require less torque to tighten the connector to the cable.

A variety of SMA flange-mount connectors feature solder post and solder cup electrical termination, with male and female connector interfaces available. All flanges are standard .500-inch square with .102-inch diameter mounting holes. Connector bodies are machined brass with nickel or gold plating, while dielectrics are Teflon with gold-plated contacts. The RSA-3171 SMA jack and RSA-3231 SMA plug have solder plugs, while the RSA-3232-1, RSA-3279-10, RSA-3279, and RSA-3285-03 have solder posts.

Built to address signal transmission problems and solder joint fragility in hand-formable cable assembles, the eSMA features an extended ferrule, failure-proof coupling nuts, solder-free captivated center contacts, and a solder-damming positive cable stop. These connectors are designed to deliver VSWR performance of 1.10 up to 12.4 GHZ, 1.20 from 12.4 to 18 GHz, and 1.31 from 18 to 26 GHz. Cable assemblies are delivered with the eSMAs installed on Times Microwave Systems’ TFlex cable, and provide a typical VSWR of 1.38 at 14 GHz. According to the company, they can be bent firmly or up close to the connector where many solder joints in hand-formable assemblies tend to break. Assemblies also feature a passive intermodulation performance of <-150 db typical.
