Ron Knight has been named manager of military fiberoptic systems at KITCO Fiber Optics (www.kitcofo.com). He recently retired from the U.S. Navy following more than 20 years of distinguished service in joint military operations, missile defense programs, homeland security, and the tactical air control systems. His last assignment was as Global War on Terrorism Director/Learning Program Director at the Center for Surface Combat Systems in Dahlgren, VA. In his new role, Knight will represent KITCO Fiber Optics in military systems and programs within the shipboard, aviation, and homeland security markets.


John Dace

John Dace has been appointed vice president of sales at audio/video cable and interconnect products developer Liberty Wire & Cable (www.libertycable.com). With 18 years of experience in sales and marketing, Dace most recently served as director of commercial sales for Chief Manufacturing. Previously, he was national sales manager at 3M, and a regional sales manager at Nalco Chemical. Dace’s training began with a degree in applied science/engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, followed by service as a Naval Flight Officer for the Marine Corps.


Kevin Cole

Also at Liberty Wire & Cable, Kevin Cole has been named the company’s first commercial national accounts manager. He began his career at the company as a member of the team responsible for the development of Liberty’s commercial business, and has held increasingly responsible positions throughout his eight years at the company. Most recently, Cole served as regional sales manager for the Midwest.
