POWER BUS INTERCONNECTION
![]() |
Designed as a low-cost interconnection between perpendicular power bus bars, the Rocker Power Clip is used in N+1 rectifier, power supply, and switching power supply applications. The connector accepts a .125-inch thick nickel or gold-plated rectangular bus bar tab, which eliminates the need for a mating connector and simplifies construction. According to the company, the Rocker allows for 6° of float, resulting in improved blind-mating and greater vertical chassis manufacturing tolerances, and its small size facilitates dense power packing.

HYBRID FIBER BREAKOUT BOX
![]() |
The SMPTE 304M is a 4.5-inch single-channel hybrid fiber-to-ST breakout box. Each hybrid connector breaks out to two ST female connectors on a recessed metal top plate (with optional electrical connectors). The breakout allows for a high-definition camera system to interconnect over existing fiber tie-lines in facilities where hybrid fiber interconnections may not be available. The box can also be used for connecting Lemo-terminated hybrid fiber cables to standard ST fiber connectors.

PUMP FIBERS FOR SOLID-STATE LASERS
![]() |
These fibers are used to feed the pump energy into the rod of diode-pumped solid-state lasers. They be assembled with various core diameters and connectors. An SMA connector with a free-standing fiber is typically used to couple the pump energy from the pump light source into the fiber, providing the fiber with a large amount of power yet without destroying the connector.

ANTENNA CONNECTOR GEL SEAL
![]() |
The GSIC gel seal for in-line and antenna connectors is designed to provide a robust weatherproofing system for sealing jumper-to-feeder and jumper-to-antenna connectors exposed to outside environments. The GSIC system includes a locking clamshell enclosure filled with sealing gel. The clamshell design lets you wrap around connectors and in-line components without unmating the connectors; you can also re-open the clamshell for connector repairs and inspection. The gel-filled internal cavity provides a barrier against moisture and other elements per IP68 ratings.

SHIELDED LC ADAPTER
![]() |
This newly-developed shielded, metal LC adapter has been designed for applications where EMI and RFI are of concern. The one-piece die-cast design enhances shielding effectiveness and, according to the company, when used with the included EMI gasket, testing indicates significant improvement in shielding effectiveness. The RoHS-compliant shielded adapter is available with ceramic sleeves, while a non-shielded metal adapter is offered in screw-mount and reduced-flange configurations. Standard plastic adapters are also available.

SURFACE-MOUNT TERMINATION
![]() |
SMT insulation-piercing terminals are designed to provide the least expensive way to terminate a wire. The torsion IDC provides contact resistance that keeps decreasing over time as the connector is subjected to a harsh environment. While conventional IDC terminals are designed for one wire size and a single use, the torsion IDC can accommodate a range of wire (solid or stranded) and can be terminated multiple times.
