Designed for emerging “super HD” broadcast equipment, these miniature 75-Ω BNC connectors feature 1.032 VSWR and return loss of -36 dB at 4.5 GHz. According to the company, the quick-connect, metal connectors meet or exceed the professional broadcast sector’s mechanical, electrical and environmental standards. Among the uses for which the BNCs are especially appropriate are terminating RG-6 and RG-59 coaxial cables in professional video, and broadcast video switching. The precision-machined brass connectors include gold-plated contacts designed to ensure low return loss. Specifications include a 500 volts rating, 5,000 MΩ insulation resistance, and 60 lbs. cable retention.

Compression coax board-to-board RF connectors incorporate either two cable connectors or two connectors and a third bullet spacer. The devices consist of a single-piece, blind-mating connector with a spring-loaded contact designed to achieve simplicity in printed circuit board (PCB) organization. They have been developed with large radial and axial misalignment to physically position the PCBs being connected and to manage spatial gaps between connecting boards, Typically designed with gold-plated phosphor bronze or brass contacts, the connectors are available in 14-, 10-, 6.5- and 4-mm sizes.
