The SL Series AMP-TWIST shielded modular jack is designed to mitigate alien crosstalk typically found in high-speed networking. It features an integrated cable-cutting blade arrangement and two-piece construction designed for quick installation and simplified shield termination. The reusable jack is compliant with current and proposed system architectures, and is designed for networks operating at 10-Gbit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 10 and 100Base-TX, token ring, 155-Mbit ATM, 100-Mbit TP-PMD, ISDN, analog and digital video, and VoIP.

The Compressor Series of SMT MagJack connectors are designed for small-form-factor 1-GHz applications. These right-angle jacks incorporate the magnetics, required to provide isolation and EMI suppression necessary for 10/100/1000Base-T applications, into the shielded body of a rugged RJ-45 connector. The RoHS-compliant Compressor Series is comprised of a two-tier stacked line-up of 6-, 8-, 12-, and 16-port devices, at a height of 0.785 inches. According to the company, the MagJack connectors are available with varied internal filter designs to optimize the performance of the most popular chipsets, and meet or exceed IEEE 802.3ab and ANSI X3.263 standards.

These modular jacks, with integrated magnetics for extended operating temperature (-40° to 85° C), are designed for 10/100 Ethernet applications. They are available in right-angle as well as vertical single-port configurations (single-port versions have grounding shields with panel flanges on top and sides). In addition, the jacks are available with resistors on unused pairs but without internal capacitor, with resistors on unused pairs and internal capacitor, or with full Bob Smith termination.
