The FC420 DDR2 DIMM is a low-profile vertical memory socket device that accepts very low profile (VLP) DDR2 (double data rate) memory module assemblies. The 18.3-mm high VLP memory module installed in a 100052286-series socket achieves a combined vertical height of less than 21.5 mm, making vertical DIMM viable in such applications as blade servers, sub-1U routers, telecom racks, and embedded systems. Pulse Input/Output (I/O) expansion modules are designed to allow direct pulse information to be transmitted wirelessly from remote locations, and are compatible with the company’s wireless BD, XD, and Data BD bus radios. The input module accepts pulse/frequency signals, while the output module accurately reproduces pulse counts or frequency outputs. The input module also has a back-up power supply connection to ensure that pulses will continue to be recorded in the event of power failure.
