He will provide commercial and technical product support, and recommend application-specific interconnect solutions to the U.S. and European markets. Before joining Sabritec, Thorell was a components and design engineer for connectors, back shells, cables, and fiberoptic interconnects, and was a technical advisor to production, purchasing, design and planning.

Interconnect solutions provider Hypertronics Corp. (Hudson, MA) has appointed Vadim Radunsky as president. He has most recently served as the company’s vice president of engineering and new business development. With 14 years of engineering and business management experience in electronic components and plastics industries, Radunsky had previously served Hypertronics as manufacturing engineering manager, and then rejoined the company in 2001 after serving as director of U.S. operations at the C&K Switch Division of ITT Cannon.

Northwire Inc. (Osceola, WI), a designer and manufacturer of industrial-grade technical cable, has named Bud Brown as director of new business development. Brown previously was general manager of Intercon 1, a producer of camera cable assemblies, a sales manager with Zercom Corp., and a vice president with communication connectivity maker Ji-Haw Industrial Co. Ltd.

Eileen Donovan has been appointed sales manager for The Eraser Co. (Syracuse, NY), a manufacturer of wire, cable and tube processing equipment. She will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of overall sales initiatives in the U.S. and abroad. Donovan’s 15 years of sales experience includes the past 10 years in the transportation industry as director of operations for Metal Transportation Systems and as director of terminal operations for Path Truck Lines.
Automation and communication solutions direct marketer B&B Electronics (Ottawa, IL), has promoted Mike Fahrion to director of engineering. He joined B&B Electronics as an electrical engineer, and subsequently served as director of engineering and director of marketing. In addition, the company promoted John Toraason to marketing communications manager, having previously served as marketing communications specialist.
Sager Electronics (Weymouth, MA), a distributor of electronic components from leading manufacturers around the world, has named Paul Horgan as corporate controller, responsible for managing the company’s accounting team. Before joining Sager, he served as corporate controller at fitness equipment manufacturer Cybex International.
