These FTTx hardened fiberoptic (HFOC) connectors for the outside plant are a family of ruggedized “drop cable” devices for single and multiple fiber applications. The HFOC connectors are designed for plug-in installation to single or multiple dwellings. They can be placed in pedestal closures, aerial and direct-buried closures, or equipment located at a fiber distribution hub enclosure or optical network termination unit (ONT) located near customer premises. The connector is designed to be pulled easily through conduit, and accommodates both oval and round cable construction. A visual mating indicator lets you know when a proper connection has been made.
