The OmniReach hardened drop cable assemblies are environmentally robust to provide a plug-and-play solution for a durable service connection in the outside plant/drop segment of the network. The cables can reduce splicing labor requirements, and simplify installation and maintenance. The assemblies are used to connect Multi-Port Service Terminals (MSTs), typically located at the street, with Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) located at the premises. The assemblies are available with one or both ends connectorized, in standard lengths from 60 to 2,500 ft and are fully- compliant with Telcordia GR-20 requirements.

These waterproof USB Type B cables are a complement to an existing line of waterproof USB A-style cable assemblies. These IEC IP67-rated USB cables and connectors utilize a rugged, molded outer shell and a threaded coupling with an O-ring seal. The 2.0-compliant female black panel-mountable cables have five 24-AWG wire leads and can be soldered into a PCB or terminated with a variety of connectors.

TERMINAL BLOCKS

These hybrid dual-level terminal blocks, suitable for a wide range of industrial and control applications, provide two separate channels in one compact footprint, an insulation displacement connection (IDC), and the screw-clamp connection. The externally-tensioned IDC termination technology and yellow wire guide offers a visual indication of a correctly terminated conductor. Wiring times are reduced, says the company, since there is no need to strip or crimp wires before insertion. The wire size has a range of 16 to 24 AWG for IDC termination and 12 to 26 AWG for screw-clamp termination.

FREEDM Fan-Out cables are designed to meet requirements of premises security applications. The cables utilize flame-retardant 900-μm buffered fiber subunits surrounded by water-resistant, dielectric strength members, and protected by a flexible, flame-retardant, UV-resistant black outer jacket. The indoor/outdoor temperature- and water-resistant cable design provides environmental protection, and eliminates the need for a transition splice when entering a building. The cables are designed for providing direct optical connections from indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras to security control locations, and are also useful for traffic control applications, providing optical feeds in rugged environments.
