MULTI-LANE HEADERS

These 32-position vertical and right-angle headers are designed to connect multi-lane SATA (Serial ATA) or SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) cables between I/O controller cards and backplanes for disk storage arrays within a storage enclosure or server. The headers provide the mating interface to cable assemblies that conform to the SFF-8484 specification, and can support up to four serial lines of SATA or SAS signals and required sideband signals. Vertical headers are offered with options for through-hole solder, press-fit, or surface-mount termination, while right-angle headers are designed for through-hole solder termination.
