The LPHY46 KOMPRESSOR remote-operated, low-pressure (1500 to 2500 psi), hydraulic, 15-ton crimping tool features a visual crimp indicator, and is double-acting for hydraulic ram advance and retract. The LPHY46 also features a spring back-up for ram retraction in case of hydraulic pressure loss. The tool can be powered directly from open- or closed-center hydraulic tool circuits present on most utility trucks, or from portable low-pressure hydraulic power packs. The LPHY46 can be switched from open- to closed-center operation.

The CSM 200 is a semiautomatic machine for the application of RoHS-compliant pin connectors, providing end users with a fast, reliable, and less operator-intensive method. The heart of the CSM 200 is a BMEP servo-electric press that allows for the monitoring and control of force, distance, and speed during the press process. Operators manually load a PCB and connectors onto fixtures and tooling that include sensors to help ensure proper location. The system specializes in processing right-angle board-edge connectors with non-overmolded pins.

The ESD thermal wire stripper prepares wires for termination to MIL-Spec connectors. The TWC models prepare cables and nick-free wire. The devices remove a variety of insulation types with strip lengths up to 3.5" for single-strand, multi-strand, or shielded wire. The included controller allows adjustment of the blade temperature to accommodate low- and high-melt insulations on 5- to 38-AWG wires in ESD-sensitive environments.

The WTTM wire-terminal pull tester measures the pull or “pull-off” force on most soldered or solderless wire terminals, crimped connectors, and similar wire terminations. It provides an all-in-one solution suitable for terminal-testing applications, eliminating the need for additional grips, fixtures, or accessories. The WTTM employs strain-gauge sensing to provide high resolution with an accuracy of 0.5%, and satisfies MIL, UL, SAE, DIN, IEC BS, and EN standards. It operates on 85- to 265-VAC power for worldwide use. Also supplied are free data-transfer software, serial cable, and a NIST calibration certificate.

The handheld Glo-ring IR heat tool is used for heat-shrinking, plastic-tube bending, soldering, adhesive-curing, solder-preforming, and butt-welding. The tool uses quartz encapsulated heating elements, which open and close to surround the work piece for quick and even heating. The elements are available in sizes from ½" to 3" OD and produce instant radiant heat at temperatures up to 1500°F. It also heats without blowing hot air and is silent in operation. The unit has no RF interference and is generated with heating elements for use in cleanrooms and testing areas.
