This four-port TrueNet Midspan Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) controller provides a flexible way to power IP devices over a local area network (LAN). The compact, IEEE 802.3af-compliant device supports small, medium, and branch office applications, Wi-Fi access point installations, IP security cameras, RFID equipment, and other network devices. The PoE controller delivers DC power for up to four devices, eliminating the need to upgrade existing Ethernet switches or use unreliable local AC power to each device separately. The rugged, extruded aluminum design protects internal electronics in harsh environments, and the device can be shelf-, wall-, or rack-mounted to support diverse powering applications.

The handheld BumbleBee PC playback viewer for spectrum analysis data can read and display RF data directly off the BumbleBee iPAQ via USB, or from the iPAQ’s removable SD or CF card slots via a card reader. The viewer interfaces with HP’s iPAQ PocketPC. The handheld receiver’s compact size and light weight allow installers, engineers, and technicians to measure a variety of bands for network installation, coverage, and RF interference analysis. BumbleBee allows for on-the-fly switching of bands for real-time spectral analysis of many wireless standards, including VoIP, 802.11 (b/a/g and Bluetooth), Wi-MAX, cordless phones/video, and broadband public-safety data networks.

This easy-wire CH2 high-voltage wiring harness/backplane tester offers test voltages to 1500 VDC and 1000 VAC in a modular system that can be ordered with as few as 160 test points, and easily expanded to 20,000. The CH2 can self-learn the wiring pattern from a sample assembly; can be programmed through its onboard wire-list editor, or import test programs from CAD-/CAE-generated data files. It measures resistance from 0.1 W to 1 MW in standard, two-wire mode, and can measure resistance as low as 0.001 W when used in four-wire mode.
