The FITEL S325A single-action fiber cleaver is ergonomically designed for handheld and benchtop operation. It combines the four steps of fiber cleave into a one-step button press that engages all four actions: applying tension to the fiber, scoring the fiber, breaking the fiber, and disposing of waste fiber. The resulting increase in speed and ease of use makes the S325A suitable for challenging field installations such as Fiber-to-the-Home and local-area-network installations.

The CDS6250 Microjet automatic dispensing system can dispense up to 150 dps, or 540.000 dph, and produces small dots down to 2 nl. Applications range from filler, pastes, oils, lubricants, colors, lacquer, flux, and solder resist to conformal coating with a viscosity between 50 and 200,000 mPa. The gap between the jet valve and the substrate can vary, allowing the dispenser to travel at a fixed height while the substrate’s height changes.

The ScanINSPECT VPI inspects stencils, screens/artwork, boards, and components, and can correct any mismatches before production starts. This process-control tool qualifies each step of the assembly and fabrication process before production. This stand-alone system couples a high-resolution, color flatbed scanner with a dual lighting system to provide a platform that verifies all of the process components before they reach the manufacturing floor. This tool is part of a series of process control and monitoring products that combine with a Windows-based computer to minimize the training needed to keep processes under control.

The MM-175BH Mighty-Miter is a reciprocating saw adapter designed for the Bosch RS20. A vee-shaped vise secures the product to be cut with a quick-clamping system. The vise and assembly swing up towards the reciprocating blade, which cuts anything square. It can cut round, square, or rectangular tubing; wood or plastic molding; angle bar; EMT; Unistrut; threaded rods; and more at a right angle.

The Power Wave 455M Robotic and 455M/STT Robotic are high-performance, digitally controlled inverter welding power sources. Intended for manufacturing facilities and fabrication shops, these power sources deliver multi-process and expansion capabilities, and high productivity. The benefit of the machines’ modular design is that robotic, hard automation, and semiautomatic applications can be performed from a single machine platform, including stick, TIG, MIG, flux-cored, pulsed, and gouging processes. These units are ideal for welding all types of materials, including steel, stainless-steel, and aluminum.

The NSCR700 cable reel features a compact design with a sturdy, narrow frame for use with live electrical cable. It can be mounted in confined spaces, and may be used with power tools, lights, machinery, and generators. A heavy-duty spring motor provides self-contained rewind power with a non-sparking ratchet assembly that locks the reel when the desired length of cable is payed out. The NSCR700 houses a standard three-conductor, 45-A, 600-V collector assembly with #8-gauge wiring from the collector ring to the junction box, and a cable stop is available to prevent roller and connector damage.

The Touch 1 Ultra test system is capable of testing assemblies up to 256 points at voltages to 2800 VDC and 2000 VAC. Designed for cables, connectors, flex circuits, and other interconnect devices that must be tested at high voltage, the Touch 1 Ultra offers insulation-resistance testing to 50 GW and DWV thresholds from 0.1 mA to 1.5 mA (real) and 30 mA (total) current. To handle the higher voltages, the Touch 1 Ultra uses the HVI (High Voltage Interconnect) interface scheme, which is a four-column × 28-row test block that allows building of individual interface cables or HVI Plugs in four-pin increments.
