POWER CONNECTORS
![]() |
The Power Clip electrical power connectors are designed as a low-cost interconnection between two perpendicular power bus bars. The Power Clips are used in “N+1” rectifier, power supply, and switching power supply applications, and provide low-voltage drop. Because the clip accepts a solid, 0.125"-thick nickel or gold-plated rectangular bus-bar tab, there is no need for a mating connector. The connectors are UL-approved for true hot-plug current interruption of 100 A at 48 V and 200 A at 42 V using a gold bus-bar tab.

ONE-PIECE INTERFACES
![]() |
These one-piece interfaces are ideal for high- shock and vibration applications due to their robust design and threaded inserts to secure the connectors to the boards. The interfaces can provide a low system cost for board stacking by reducing the number of components required to be purchased and processed. They can also improve quality over elastomerics and pin-and-socket systems due to their reliable connections and the elimination of bent pins.

SOCKET BLOCKS
![]() |
These 5.08-mm-pitch socket blocks (BLZ, BLZF, and BLT) include a left and right lock-and-release lever for its PCB connectors. This added feature interlocks the socket block and pin header for a secure connection, and allows a complete separation of the pin header from the socket block without force or the need for tools. The socket blocks are available with a BLZ screw-clamp connection with 180° (two to 22 poles) and 270° (15 to 24 poles) wire exits; BLZF tension clamp connection with 180° (two to 24 poles) wire exit; and BLT TOP connection (two to 24 poles), where the wire insertion and clamping are in parallel.

HIGH-POWER CONNECTORS
![]() |
These high-power SMA (“HP-SMA”) connectors are designed for use in high-power laser delivery assemblies, and use “air gap” technology to eliminate all energy-absorbing materials at the fiber end. The connectors are offered in standard core diameters ranging from 200 to 1500 μm with numerical apertures ranging from 0.12, 0.22 (standard), 0.26, and 0.39 (standard). For higher power levels, an optional high-conductivity copper ferrule is used for the nose of the connector, allowing for greater heat dissipation.

D-SUBMINIATURE CONNECTORS
![]() |
The “Grommet D” D-subminiature connector is a high-density rectangular connector system equipped for extreme environmental conditions. The connectors are sealed by silicone rear grommets and interfacial sealing to operate reliably, even when immersed in water or corrosive liquids. A fluorosilicone grommet seals all the wire leads entering the rear of the connector, while the interfacial seal ensures there is no possibility of leakage between the mated plug and receptacle. The connectors come with optional stainless-steel shells, and provide resistance against corrosion.

LOW-PROFILE CONNECTORS
![]() |
The 5805 series low-profile, board-to-board connectors are designed specifically for miniature and hand-held portable equipment applications. The connectors have a 0.4-mm pitch and a 1.0-mm stacking height. The connectors feature a KEC S-shaped spring for the spring structure, giving the connectors a very low profile. A double-sided contact structure adopted for mating lock enhances the components resistance to vibration and drop shock. The 5805 series employs a twin-rib-shaped plug side contact that eliminates foreign obstacles, such as splash flux, from interfering with the contacts, improving the contact reliability.
