These OFL 200 handheld OTDRs have the range and features for outside plant crews installing and maintaining optical-fiber cables in broadband, metro, access, and FTTH networks. The OFL 200 detects fiber backscatter and fresnel reflections, and locates reflective and non-reflective breaks, including those caused by crushed fibers. These test sets provide an integrated, 650-nm visual fault locator (VFL) for short-distance troubleshooting and fiber tracing. A fast-change, switchable adapter allows these OTDRs to interface launch cables with various connector styles.

For controlling cables in point-to-point wiring, the Ty-Duct wiring duct suits electrical enclosures, machine building, and data/communications panels and closets with temperatures from -40°F to 140°F. A two-point contact design facilitates installation with little force, and triple-restricted slots allow for wire retention. A universal mounting clip allows the divider to be snapped into the base, and two slot sizes on the button accommodate nylon cable ties or hook and loop fasteners. Embossed holes enable combo buttons to be installed after the duct has been riveted to the panel. A protective film cover allows for marking or labeling with temporary ink. Solid, wide- and narrow-slot, and round-hole types are also available.
