The AirMax VS backplane connector family now includes high-speed mezzanine connectors available in a variety of circuit counts. Shieldless AirMax VS mezzanine connections use press-fit vertical headers and vertical receptacles to dictate custom stack heights from 12.5 to 30 mm. Custom pin assignments (differential or single-ended signals as well as power) enable system data rates from 2.5Gbit/s to 12Gbit/s without redesign of the basic platform.

The improved EZ-600-NMC-2 no-solder “EZ” two-piece clamp-style connector for LMR-600 cable now features a combination hex/knurl coupling nut that allows tightening by hand or wrench. A slimmer design eases installation and enables assembly with two 15/16˝ wrenches. Offering low VSWR at high frequencies, the connector is ideal for spread spectrum and ISM band applications of 5.8 GHz.
