A new bulkhead-mounted cable jack has been added to the UPL250 series. Currently, the miniaturized BNC plugs are primarily mated to PCB-mounted jacks in OEM applications for the telephone central office DS3 line, enabling miniaturization by network element box builders, including Lucent, Cisco, and Nortel. Growing acceptance of this small BNC series has created demand for a bulkhead-mounted version.
