The SnapN connectors are the first quick-lock connectors compatible with N connectors. SnapN jacks (female) can be mated with N plugs (male) with standard interfaces. Due to the quick-lock coupling mechanism, engagement force is approximately 30 N, and the mating process of SnapN connectors is approximately ten times faster than installing standard N connectors. The outer diameter of 16 mm leads to higher packing densities. The connectors can be used up to 11 GHz in applications like filters for mobile base stations, cable connections for mobile base stations, test and measurement equipment, or wireless LAN. The new Tru-Lok two-pin connector series with 1.5-mm socket contacts features a molded thermoplastic main plug body and secondary latch with Viton main seals and wire seals.
