Wago (Germantown, WI), manufacturer of spring-pressure technology, announced recently the addition of Karie Daudt to regional sales manager, covering the area of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin.

Hover-Davis (Rochester, NY), designer and manufacturer of component delivery systems for the circuit-board-assembly industry, has announced recently the appointment of Mike Hayward as its new European sales manager. Hayward will be responsible for managing and growing sales of Hover-Davis products via established distribution channels and through other strategic partnerships. In addition, Hover-Davis also announced that it will establish the Semiconductor Feeding Solutions Group. Roland Heitman will be joining the company as director and will report directly to John Hover, president and CEO.

Ortronics (New London, CT), manufacturer of connectivity products and high-structured capacity cabling systems, announced recently the appointment of Mark Proft as vice president of marketing. In his new position, Proft will lead in setting the strategic direction and global positioning for Ortronics, as well as leading product management and marketing activities.

W.L. Gore and Associates (Elkton, MD), supplier of high-performance microwave assemblies, has recently signed BSW TestSystems and Consulting (BSW) as a value-added reseller of their RF test assemblies. Under the agreement, BSW will distribute Gore’s assemblies to customers in Germany and the Benelux area in the semiconductor, electronics, and telecommunications industries.

Indium Corporation of America (Clinton, NY), supplier of electronics assembly materials, has announced the appointment of Wang Ming as technical manager in China, based in Suzhou.

Enthone (West Haven, CT), a business of Cookson Electronics and a supplier of high-performance specialty chemicals and coatings used in the electronics and furnishing industries, announced recently the appointment of Huub van Dun as president. In his new position, he will have profit and loss responsibility for the entire worldwide Enthone business. He will also be responsible for driving market penetration for all Enthone product groups, while focusing on research and development of new products and processes. He will report directly to Steven Corbett, president and CEO, Cookson Electronics.

Speedline Technologies, single-source process solutions and service provider to the PCB assembly and semiconductor packaging industries, announced recently the appointment of Keith Favre as the vice president, marketing and business development. In his new role, he will be responsible for marketing strategy, product management, business development and marketing communications. Favre joined Speedline in February 1996 and has held various positions in the organization, including product management, regional sales, corporate account management and, most recently, vice president of Speedline, Europe. Favre will be relocating to the Speedline Technologies’ headquarters in Franklin, MA.

In addition, Speedline also announced the appointment of Jürgen Spahn as vice president, European Operations. Spahn joined Speedline Technologies GmbH in January 1999 as regional sales manager for Germany and Austria. During his tenure with Speedline, he has held various positions, including account management, sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe, and director of sales for Europe.
