The P350, an X-Y insertion machine for automatic insertion of printed circuit boards, is fully automatic with the ability to apply a large variety of terminals for printed circuit boards. To do this, the P350 is equipped with three product-specific insertion heads. Each head has a rotary insertion finger that allows products to be applied at different angles without rotating the PCB. Conversion kits for different insertion tools are available to allow an existing machine to be updated to apply different products as production requirements change. This new combination wire cutter and stripper features a thumb-adjustable cam that is stamped with gauge sizes and can lock the tool closed for storage or to fit in a pocket. The model 505 adjustable wire stripper's thumb-adjustable cam dial is permanently stamped with 12 to 26 AWG (2.05 to 0.405 mm) wire sizes and locks for storage in a tool kit or pocket. Manufactured from alloyed steel, heat-treated and covered with Xuro-Rubber cushioned handgrips, this ergonomic hand tool combines a full by-pass flush cutter with the adjustable wire stripper. The CD-15 is a motorized level wind coiling and collection system that is designed to allow maximum adjustability and control over the finished coil shape. The CD-15 serves as a collection device for the CS-326 wire processor. This combination provides customers with the technology necessary to produce coiled cable ready for immediate packaging and shipment. Coil pins in this unit can be adjusted to specify the coil diameter, height, and shape. The CD-15 is useful for coiling cables such as extension cords and coaxial cable, among others. DISPENSING SYSTEM

This new high-pressure benchtop dispensing system applies silicones and thick fluids through small gauge needles. This new dispensing system makes it easy for workers to apply precise amounts of thick assembly fluids like RTV silicones and epoxies through dispensing needles as small as 0.004" in diameter. The 2400 workstation operates on compressed air and electricity, and uses controlled air pressure and a precision timer to dispense accurate, consistent amounts of virtually any assembly fluid. Digital display of all settings improves process control, while the unique vertical design has a footprint 60% smaller than traditional dispensers. EFD, EAST PROVIDENCE, RI www.efd-inc.com

CABLE STRIPPER

The SA-200L Strip-All can be used to remove a wide range of cable jackets from 3/8" up to 7/8" O.D. The tool works well on large multi-conductor cables such as: computer, telephone, instrumentation, Speedwrap all-in-one, tray, multi-pair, shielded, plenum, line cord, robotic, welding, Vutron, and power cables. The SA-200L is designed with an open channel guide to make straight cuts of any length. It can also make ring cuts by inserting the cable sideways into the veeguide. LINEAR BEARINGS

The DryLin R plastic linear bearings are made with J polymer material, which requires no lubrication or maintenance. The bearings were developed for round shafts and applications with a need for speed and low noise. They can reach speeds more than four times faster than re-circulating ball bearings, deliver unrestricted acceleration, and are well suited for high-frequency, short-travel applications. The bearings are available in a complete range of sizes and are dimensionally interchangeable with standard, re-circulating ball bearings. IGUS, EAST PROVIDENCE, RI www.igus.com

DISPENSER SYSTEM

The innovative Camalot XyflexPro HVB dispenser system uses a proprietary, patent-pending, conveyorless material handling system and dual-dispense heads. Its typical performance is three-to-five times faster than conventional single-lane systems. The dramatic increase is achieved by optimizing the number of parts in process to fully absorb long capillary flow times, part transport times, and extended product heating times. The innovation results in maximum-dispense head utilization without requiring the change of substrate carriers. SPEEDLINE TECHNOLOGIES, FRANKLIN, MA www.speedlinetech.com

COMPRESSION TOOL

The new all-in-one universal compression tool is suitable for most RCA's, BNC's, and F-type connectors, including right-angled BNC connectors. It is designed with a comfortable grip to provide quick, easy, and reliable terminations of virtually any compression sealed connector on RG-6, RG-6 Quad, or RG-59 cables. The tool incorporates a ratchet mechanism, allowing more effective control of the tool during compression. This enables the installer to stop at any time during the compression, aiding in proper alignment and consistent termination of the connector. ICC, CERRITOS, CA www.icc.com
