RECTANGULAR CONNECTORS — These industrial multipole connectors now offer a solution for the pluggable connection of motors and engines. The angled die-cast aluminum rectangular housing substitutes for the conventional motor junction plate with threaded bolts and feeder clamps. Symmetrical mounting holes enable the housing to rotate freely in 90° steps. The motor connecting housing can be used with all 10-pole contact inserts, and screw, spring, and crimp connections. The compact and space-saving design allows for quick and easy replacement of motors. The revos motor connecting housing is designed for motors up to 7.5 kW and has a rated voltage of 600 V. It has a protection rating of IP65 in accordance to DIN 40050. WIELAND ELECTRIC, BURGAW, NC. www.wielandinc.com

LC BOOT — This fully rotatable LC boot is designed to greatly improve cable routing in dense cable-management applications. The unique boot rotates a full 360° without twisting the fiber, eliminating the risk of fiber torsional stress. Its 42°-angled design provides ease of routing and eliminates undue stresses imposed on traditional straight boots in many cable routing applications in which space is an issue. Made from low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) material, the boot meets proposed industry toxin reduction initiatives. D-SUBMINIATURE CONNECTORS — A new 25-pin connector expands the line of Variosub plug connectors for harsh industrial environments. The 25-pin connector joins the 9- and 15-pin connector in this IP67-rated connector family. No tools are needed to lock the plug housing to the mounting frame—it is a "plug-and-play" operation. This simplifies set up and maintenance, since connectors are easy to unplug, plug in, and move. Integrated EMC shielding offers protection against interference. WIRELESS CONNECTORS — Designed to replace two or three RF connectors through a single board-to-board connection, IMP* connectors are cost effective and quick mounting. Based on a pressure contact, the connector requires only 22.2 mm2 of PCB space and is available in heights of 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 mm. The connector weighs 0.02 g. The IMP* series benefits from a vertical mounting tolerance up to 0.4 mm for the 3-mm height version. IMP* connectors offer an operating frequency of DC to 6 GHz, and are designed for wireless applications including phones, WLANs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices, and automotive equipment. PCB CONNECTORS — The 6298 Series low-pin-count, low-profile, flexible-printed-circuit (FPC) connectors provide design engineers with secure PCB connections in handheld electronic devices. Featuring a front-hinged actuator, the 6298 Series connectors lock the flex cable into position, compensating for poor cable retention commonly associated with low-pin-count FPC connectors. These 0.5-mm pitch connectors accept 0.2-mm-thick flex circuits. The overall connector height is 0.9 mm. The voltage rating is 50 V maximum at 0.4 A per pin with an operating temperature range of -25°C to 85°C. AVX, MYRTLE BEACH, SC. www.avxcorp.com
