Signal integrity test and connector protocol analysis house LeCroy scores big at DesignCon 2011

Feb 1, 2011

The signal integrity and protocol test analysis gurus at LeCroy Corporation (NASDAQ: LCRY) are having themselves quite a DesignCon. In addition to receiving top honors for its WaveMaster 845 Zi-A oscilloscope, the company introduced a mid-range extension to the platform, the WaveRunner 6 Zi oscilloscope, along with an AMC Interposer and other protocol analysis tools for PCI Express 2.0 data rates and development. The company also introduced its Compact x8 protocol analyzer for PCI Express 3.0 -- in addition to a 90-degree server interposer for analyzing the PCIe 3 protocol. The company also introduced a standalone DDR3 protocol analyzer. Whew! And all this, on the heels of reports of "January orders coming in at record pace."

Busy days at LeCroy! Here's hoping it harbinges a good year for the interconnection industry at large.
