January 25, 2010 -- Burndy (Manchester, NH) has introduced its Patriot PAT750XT-18V crimping tool. The new version of the tool continues to utilize 18 volt Ni-MH batteries, but is 25 percent faster than the previous model, and up to 40 percent faster than other brands of lithium-ion battery-powered crimp tools, contends the company.
In addition to faster crimp cycles, the Patriot PAT750XT-18V has newly designed electronics, field proven for reliability in harsh work environments. The tool comes with a 5-year warranty plus a lifetime warranty on the Burndy 'Infinity Drive.'
Made in the U.S., Burndy's tools, dies, and connectors are tested, UL Listed, and CSA certified where applicable. The company supports the industrial, energy, construction, telecommunication, petrochemical, data center, and transportation industries.
