Profibus connector — The ERbic Max Profibus IDC Switch is a bus interface connector. The axial cable outlet is positioned in the mating direction, which reportedly produces a slimline form. The product includes an integrated switch that can turn the termination on or off. Programming adapters — QFN/MLF Programming Adapters support the eight-bit Microchip technology PIC microcontrollers in eight- and 28-pin QFN/MLF packages. The products are said to be smaller and thinner than similar leaded packages. Cable assembly — This HSSDC-2 Cable Assembly meets the requirements for ANSI T11 Fibre Channel and InfiniBand standards. Harsh environment connectors — These Harsh Environment Connectors are part of the PHD multichannel optical interconnects system. They are designed for military, avionics and industrial applications where high performance is required in severe conditions. The PHD 38999 is for military and avionics applications, and the Poseidon PHD can be used for industrial and other commercial applications. Flexible cable — Flexlife-10 High-flex Cable reportedly guarantees performance to 10 million cycles of continuous flexing, bending and twisting motion. It can be used for power and signals to factory automation equipment in the automotive, electronics and semiconductor industries. Applications include cable carriers, robotic welding, assembly, material handling, dispensing and coating. Power connector — The SBE 700 A Connector is designed for high-current, high-speed charging. The genderless connector is hot-pluggable and contains space for up to 10 individual auxiliary signal lines for communication and signal requirements. The product features high-performance copper contacts and is engineered for use with standard 4/0 cables. Terminal blocks — The SCB Series DIN rail-mounted Terminal Blocks are designed for use in power applications such as shorting current transformers. The sliding link blocks are available in various configurations for opening circuits and for shunting with the use of several accessories. They are fully insulated, which is said to eliminate the need for special covers, and they have a space-saving design. The products are rated 40 A at 600 V and accept wires from 20 to 8 AWG. Communication Cords — These Communication Cords are fully connectorized and designed for use in harsh environments. Manufactured with a polyurethane jacket, they come pre-assembled with contacts and connectors for assembly into communication devices such as radio telephone handsets, vehicle intercom systems and mobile radio systems. Optical Circuits — Concours NP Nonplanar Optical Circuits are available in unterminated and preterminated versions with a range of single- or multifiber connector types including silicon or silica V-groove arrays. The circuits reportedly can be constructed with any single- or multimode fiber type without generating excess loss. Bendable tubing allows the circuit to be mounted in a flexed state, avoiding other components while respecting the minimum bend radius of the fiber. Heavy-duty Connector — The HTS HD Series Connector is a modular connector system comprised of a rugged rectangular outer shell made from die-cast zinc or aluminum, a robust inner contact housing and high-performance multimate contacts. These contacts use a pin-and-socket design that is either stamped-and-formed or screw-machined. The product is available in various housing sizes and reportedly can accommodate seven to 128 contacts. Applications include industrial machinery and other industrial applications. The product is rated for 250 VAC at 10 A per contact, and the contacts accept 30 to 14 AWG stranded wire. These continuous-flex products are available from stock in more than 400 sizes and styles, from shielded and unshielded power cables to twisted-pair and bus cables. Jack/S-video Connector — This Connector consists of three RCA phono jacks and one S-video connector. Designed for use in audio and video multimedia applications such as game consoles, VCRs and set-top boxes for satellite, cable and terrestrial TV services, the product is available in PCB-mount, vertical and horizontal configurations. Fieldbus Junction Tee — This Short Circuit Junction Tee for Foundation Fieldbus segments provides a rugged connection to a range of fieldbus devices. The product's overmolded design offers corrosion resistance, and the circuit board is encapsulated in UV-stable polyurethane. Available with stainless-steel and nickel-plated brass connectors, it is said to provide IP67 protection. The junction reportedly provides short circuit protection to all six spurs; the current to each spur is limited to 55 mA and provides a red LED indication if faulted. High-density Connectors — High-density EPIC Rectangular Connectors are reportedly UL/CSA/VDE-approved and fit into the company's standard housings. The high-density contact configuration has a 16 A, 600 V rating and reportedly fits a greater number of connections in a smaller housing space. The insert design is said to provide high contact density without sacrificing electrical performance. HEE Series Connector Inserts consist of six contact capacity configurations: 10, 18, 32, 46, 64 (2 ¥ 32) and 92 (2 ¥ 46). The crimp- terminated inserts are available with silver or gold contacts. Coaxial Terminations — The 404-F3 and 480-F3 Series Coaxial Terminations dissipate 35 and 50 W average, respectively, (5 kW peak) through natural air convection with maximum VSWR of 1.05:1 to 1.0 GHz, 1.10:1 to 2.0 GHz and 1.15:1 to 3.0 GHz. Both versions are available in N male, SMA male, BNC male and TNC male connector configurations. The N, BNC and TNC models feature plated brass connectors with silver-plated contact pins, and the SMA models feature stainless-steel connectors with gold-plated contact pins. All terminations are said to utilize virgin electrical-grade PTFE insulation within the connectors and anodized aluminum housings designed for efficient heat transfer. XPAK Optical SYSTEM — The XPAK System consists of an XLink 10 Gigabit optical transponder, guide system and 70-pin XAUI host connector. Designed to the XPAK MSA, the products are suitable for low-profile applications. They can be used in network interface cards, host bus adapters, target channel adapters, and dense-packed storage area network and enterprise switches. PCB Connectors — The 7572 Series Connectors are UL-rated to 40 A, 150 V (VDE-rated to 57 A, 150 V) for higher power capabilities on the board. They are available in two versions: one is equipped with two solder pins per pole; the other is a three-pole version with four solder pins per pole. The products provide a 10.16 mm contact spacing to accommodate the high amperage ratings of wire sizes 22 to 8 AWG. BMA Connectors — These BMA Connectors feature a push-on SMA interface that is said to be suitable for dense modular connector arrays requiring fast and reliable connections. They are designed to fit cable sizes from 0.0865 to 0.1410" (semi-rigid) and 0.19 to 24.00" (flexible) with crimp and solder attachment. The products provide a positive alignment interface with minimal insertion force per MIL-STD-348 and can accommodate a maximum of 0.060" axial and ±0.020" radial misalignment. Power Connectors — High-power Mains Connectors are suitable for applications up to 20 A, 250 VAC. They are molded of flame-retardant, UL 94V-0-rated nylon and incorporate solid brass contact pins. Operating temperature is from -40° to 70°C. The C19, PX0599 rewireable female cable connector has screw termination and can be used for 3 ¥ 12 AWG or 3 ¥ 2.5 mm2 harmonized cables up to 12 mm in diameter. The C20 panel-mounted inlet is available in two versions: the flange-mounting PX0596 for screw fixing and snap-to panel, and the PX0598, suitable for 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mm panels. Ethernet Interconnection System — The etherMate Interconnection System is designed for industrial Ethernet applications. It is said to provide a total M12, eight-pole connectivity solution capable of communication on shielded and unshielded cables and operates to 10Base-T or 100Base-T specifications per TIA/EIA 568 B.2. Shorting Connectors — The AutoShunt Connector System provides an alternative to current transformer shorting blocks. A shorting device housed within the male side ofthe connector pair reportedly enhances functionality. In an uncoupled state, this metallic device makes simultaneous contact with all six male pins, shorting the circuits together. As the products are coupled, the shorting device is displaced by the female molding. Features include machined contacts available for 12 and 10 AWG wire and current ratings at 15 A per contact. Plug/Connector — The 4M20 Male Plug and 4F20 Female Connector are said to protect against dust and allow continuous submersion in up to 6' of water when capped or mated. These four-wire products are IP68-rated for 15 to 25 A, 600 V maximum. The connectors are available molded to type SOW-A cable on 14, 12 and 10 AWG and are available as pigtails or extension cords. Standard connector colors include black, red, white, blue and orange. The products reportedly are designed to isolate one contact from the other and create a watertight seal.
