Interpower Power Cords and Cordsets are designed for use in hospital and medical settings. The plugs carry the green dot that indicates hospital-grade. The products are terminated with five different angled IEC 60320 C13 connectors (left, right, up, down and straight) rated at 10 to 13 A at 125 VAC. These Ribbonized Microminiature Coaxial Assemblies were developed for board extenders in diagnostic and test equipment and other high-speed applications. The products utilize 0.5 mm SMT connectors. In a width of 66.2 mm, the 0.5 mm connector reportedly offers 180 interconnections, compared to 120 using a 0.8 mm connector. As board-to-board, rack-to-rack or backplane stitching interconnections, these flexible assemblies are said to handle higher speed signal applications with easier routing and simpler board registration than alternate connector or FPC solutions. These AES/EBU-compliant Digital Audio Snake Cables are designed for broadcast and other high-end audio applications. The 110 Ω cables are available in constructions containing two to 24 pairs, and are UL/CM-approved. Part number SND2424 consists of 24 individually shielded and jacketed pairs with an overall foil shield and jacket. Flexible Circuits

Twisty-Flex Circuits offer the noise reduction of twisted-wire pairs or coaxial cable in a flexible circuit. The two-layer design uses alternating conductors connected between layers by microvias. The twisted-pair construction has a total thickness of less that 0.015" (0.38 mm). A wire pair can fit into a circuit less than 0.100" (2.50 mm) wide, or integrate the conductors with other signal or power conductors in a larger flex or rigid flex design. The products are suitable for integrating high-frequency, impedance-matched conductors with DC or other signals in a single-flex design.
