Amphenol Industrial Operations (Sidney, N.Y.) acquired the Radsok Business Unit of K&K Stamping (Detroit). Amphenol plans to expand Radsok technology to the communications, military/aerospace and industrial power markets.

Laird Technologies (Delaware Water Gap, Pa.) acquired Schaumburg, Ill.-based Boldt Metronics International (BMI), a manufacturer of EMI shielding products.

Stratos Lightwave Inc. (Chicago) named Robert Scharf Executive Vice President of the Active Subsystems Group. The company also appointed Richard C.E. Durrant Executive Vice President of the Passive Subsystems Group and David A. Slack as Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO.

CommScope Inc. (Hickory, N.C.) added fiber optic components to its fiber optic cable product line.

Ron Desilets joined Trompeter Electronics (Westlake Village, Calif.) as Mil/Aero Business Development Specialist. Desilets is responsible for project sales development and customer support to military and aerospace markets.

Fujitsu Ltd. (Tokyo) established Fujitsu Interconnect Technologies Ltd., a spin off of its PCB division. The new company will provide design, manufacturing and sales for interconnect technology products including printed circuit and module boards.

ITT Industries Inc. (White Plains, N.Y.) appointed Mark Steele as President of ITT Industries China. Steele will serve all of the company's businesses in China.

FCI and Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Cable Industries Ltd. have partnered to supply car manufacturers with advanced interconnect solutions.

Circuit Assembly Corp. (Irvine, Calif.) signed a licensing agreement with Taiwan-based Component User Industry Co. Ltd. (CPUSER). CPUSER gains the licensing right to manufacture and market Ultra ATA connectors and cable assemblies.

Micro-Coax (Pottstown, Pa.) appointed Promark Electronics Inc. (Quebec) as its exclusive distributor for Canada. Promark distributes electronic connectors, wire and cable, and value-added services in Canada.

Opticis Co. Ltd. (Seoul), a manufacturer of transceivers and optical cables, has relocated its headquarters to a 11,112 sq ft facility.

Aries Electronics Inc. (Frenchtown, N.J) appointed Intech Electronics Sales (Encinitas, Calif.) as its primary manufacturers representative for Southern California.
