Interconnect supplier BTC Electronic Components to co-sponsor North Carolina executive forum

Apr 15, 2011

BTC Electronic Components, a distributor of connectors and connector accessories to the aerospace, military, and commercial industries, announced that it will be a sponsor for the 2011 NC CEO Forum, an annual event that brings together North Carolina’s top business leaders.

Headquartered in Wake Forest, NC, BTC has been a manufacturer franchised/authorized distributor of connectors and connector accessories since 1980. The company is classified as a small business and is AS9100 Rev B, ISO 9001:2008, ITAR, and MIL-STD-790 certified.

Scheduled for Wednesday, August 10 at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC, the executive forum, co-hosted by RD Recruiters and Summit Performance Systems, will feature keynote speeches, panel sessions, speaker presentations and networking sessions. The keynote speaker at this year’s event will be Jim Collins, acclaimed business author of Good to Great and Built to Last. Joining Mr. Collins will be distinguished C-level executives who will speak about what they do to differentiate themselves in the areas of operations, culture, strategy and innovation to build a company that lasts.

“We are pleased to be a sponsor of this year’s NC CEO Forum,” said Robert Barnett, President of BTC. “Our company subscribes to the Good to Great philosophy, so having the opportunity to see Mr. Collins speak – along with other local business leaders – is something that can only help our business grow.”
