November 23, 2009 -- Zeus Industrial Products, Inc., a specialist in material science and polymer extrusions, announced that it has acquired AS9100 certification for aerospace applications. The company says that it is also working directly with more suppliers to design end products for demanding applications.
"The AS9100 certification allows current and future partners to know we are knowledgeable of industry quality requirements and tat we are committed to meeting or exceeding these benchmarks," says Rob Hall, vice president of engineered extrusions at Zeus. "We strive to provide a robust and responsive quality management system that will aid in the advancement of polymer solutions inaerospace applications."
Developed by The Society for Automotive Engineers, the AS9100 standard defines quality and management requirements. The certification is just one indication of Zeus' increased presence in the aerospace industry, says the company.
