TTI Inc. announced the appointment Volker Gerhardt as product development manager, connectors, for its business unit in Central Europe. According to a press release, Gerhardt will work within the company's connectors supplier management team, managed by John Sandy, to develop and drive TTI’s connector strategy within its Central European branches.

Gerhardt has held several positions with TTI, most recently as branch product manager in TTI’s Pforzheim location. He has worked in the electronic component industry since 1988, and joined TTI in 1998. Previously he worked as a semiconductor measurement engineer with IBM in Germany. He brings to TTI extensive knowledge in electronic design as well as in electronic product and distribution marketing throughout Germany.
