AVX receives Raytheon's 5-Star Supplier Excellence Award

AVX Corporation (NYSE: AVX), a manufacturer of advanced passive components and interconnect solutions, announced that it recently received the 5-Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.

AVX received the award at a recognition ceremony held at the Wyndham hotel in Andover, Mass. on April 13, 2011. Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.
