November 4, 2009 -- The new 300-W single-output connector series from Total Power International has universal AC input/full range, high efficiency up to 89% typical, the company says. Connectors in the series have power factor correction (PFC) function and can withstand 300 VAC surge input for five seconds. Connectors in the series are short-circuit-, overload-, overvoltage-, and over-temperature-protected.
Both the HRP-300 and HRPG-300 product lines comply with global certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE. The HRPG models offer additional remote on/off control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve the goal of no-load power consumption less than 0.5W.
TPI says the series of connectors are suitable for general electronic applications, factory automation, LED moving signs, test-and-measurement equipment, and all uses that require no-load power consumption.
