SANTA ANA, CA -- ITT Interconnect Solutions has enhanced its PowerLock Box with a flange to provide simple and secure sealing into equipment panel cut-outs. Available in lidded and non-lidded versions, the PowerLock Box with flange features an extended front panel measuring 107 mm, providing a seal around the entire box.

"The new PowerLock Box with flange uses our standard PowerLock connectors, with all ports keyed and color-coded for sequential mating to ensure ground is connected first, which is vital in applications where fast installation is required," said Keith Teichmann, director of marketing for ITT Interconnect Solutions. "The connector ports are environmentally sealed to IP65 specifications, making the PowerLock Box with flange ideal for outdoor applications such as mobile generators, riverside power plants and outdoor leisure equipment, including theme park rides."

The PowerLox Box features IP2X finger protection for additional safety, and is available in 400A and 660A versions. The PowerLock Box with flange also prevents tampering and unauthorized entry to equipment, ensuring security in public-setting applications such as hospitals, shops and offices.

Voltage rating is to 1000VAC/1500VDC, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +85°C and life cycles to 500 connections. The device is UL94-VO-approved and includes 3-phase color coding to meet European, North American and Australian standards.

Typical pricing for the PowerLock Box with flange is approximately $800 to $900 each depending on quantity. Lead times is from 8 to 10 weeks.
