GEORGETOWN -- AirBorn is launching a Micro-D High Speed product line, which the company says is the result of years of R&D and meets the needs of many customers moving toward multi-gigabit data rates for mission-critical systems.

The connector is designed to meet the performance requirements of MIL-DTL-83513, where applicable. It is designed to handle high-speed, LVDS serial bus signals, such as IEEE 1394, Ethernet, serial rapid IO, etc., for rugged, high-reliability applications.
The product line ranges from one high-speed quad module up to 10 high-speed quad modules and up to 50 signal contacts.
